Fast forward to today, and the toy world has changed. The soulful mechanics of tinplate have been replaced by mass-produced plastic.
What many don't realize is that tin toy making is a century-old legacy. Unlike instant manufacturing, every piece is 100% handmade. It involves an average of 150 intricate steps—from design, molding, and lithography printing to stamping, assembly, and packaging. A single batch takes nearly six months to complete.
Each toy embodies a spirit of persistence and passion. FunClox is my way of fighting the fade, preserving this labor of love for the next generation.
